The year 2009 is about to come to an end. Overall, it has been an interesting year.
But now is not the time to dwell in the past. What is past is past and cannot be changed. The future on the other hand can be changed today.
If you're one of hose people that make resolutions every year, only to find at the end of the following year you failed in many of them, I have one quick answer. STOP making resolutions that are unrealistic.
I heard on the radio the other day, instead of making resolutions, set goals for the new year. I have written about this before but I feel I must emphasize it again. Longterm, mid term and short term goals will help you achieve your "resolutions". Plan ahead. Be proactive. Don't settle for less. Be the best you can be.
While it sounds easy to just set goals, I would also recommend that you write them down and read them from time to time. Maybe you'll need to adjust a few but at least you'll have something in writing that will hopefully lead to direct action.
Yep...2009 is just about gone. I have my goals already written down. I modified them from last year. I achieved a few but still have a longways to go. What about you? Are you ready to make your life better by setting some goals or are you going to waste another year "wishing" you had done something better with your life?
I'm outta here! I have champagne to cool, laundry to do, and have to review my goals for 2010. Don't let me be the only one!
Have a great 2010!
