Springtime

I love Spring.  The flowers are blooming. The buds on trees are getting bigger eventually giving way to leaves and other types of flora. Winter coats, hats and gloves are being put away.  Snow shovels and snowblowers are serviced and stored. The pollen is abundant.  Uggghhh! Along with itchy eyes, there comes the runny nose, congested throat, sneezing and at times, the inability to squelch the ill effects of natures sandpaper.  I call it that beacuse that is what pollen feels like when it gets in my eyes. Hopefully the impending rain will wash the majority of it away. Until then, I'll be taking my anti-allergen medicine and hope it makes me feel better FAST!
