Where Did Summer Go?

Great question!

Temperatures in recent days have been on the cool side. With cooler weather, come thoughts of winter and what do we need to do to start preparing.

I started cleaning out my garage. I actually filled a huge construction trash bag with items from my garage that I no longer use and are of no use to anyone else.  I have a long ways to go though!

The yard.....well, it may get cut and edged one more time before the first frost hits. Summer was brutal on the lawn and past greeness never materialized this year. Maybe next year?  We'll see.

Thanksgiving and Christmas ornaments have started to make an appearance. I'll have to sort through these and keep the items I'll want to use this holiday season and maybe next. For the rest of the stuff, it's time to either pitch it or attempt to have a yard sale. Pitching it is easier.  :-)

No big plans for the holidays. No out of town guests.......yet. We'll have to wait and see what October brings and we near the sometimes dreaded holiday season.
