OPD - "Other People's Drama"

Are you really interested in OPD . . . . "Other People's Drama"? Don't you have enough going on in your own life that you just, "have to" follow the exploits of someone else?  This topic hit home HARD last year while watching television. I am not sure which program it was, but the term, "Other People's Drama" came up and it hit me like a hard brick.  Why do I watch so much television about other people?  Is my life so boring that I have to be entertained by the misery or happiness of others?  Granted, not all television is bad or good, it is just that I have better things to do with my time than to waste it watching mindless shows like, "The Biggest Loser" and "American Idol".  Why not just watch the first episode and the finale?  In fact, why watch it at all!  My time is too important. Life is too short.  OPD is for others.....not for me.
