Freedom of Speech

Ah yes....one of the last bastions of our freedom or is it? I was recently involved in an onboard discussion discussing a certain issue, when suddenly I was accused of being insensitive, cruel, inhumane, and mean. Hmmmmmm. My wife doesn't think so! It all boiled down to a matter of opinion about a certain issue. I felt one way and others, well, they felt STRONGLY in their opinion. No to worry. I just rephrased my comment and posted it again. Whoa! Another cruel and mean comment directed towards me. What has happened to this world? Can't a person disagree or have a difference of opinion without being told to, "shove a stick up your @#$!!" Well, the issue was finally resolved. It did go against what I thought was right but those that write history are the winners.
