First major snow storm of the season! Weather folks are calling for 6 to 24 inches depending where you are. I can already estimate over 10 inches in my backyard.
Having grown up in western New York, I know how to drive in the snow and prepare for the semi-hibernation that takes place. Others that are not familiar with it......well, just becareful if you have to go out. Luckily my wife and I spent the last few hours Friday night prepping for this storm. Saturday and Sunday will be spent wrapping gifts, fixing up the house for the holidays, playing with the grandchildren outside and just staying safe in our "cave".
Welcome winter! Though I prefer the warm brezzes of beach locations, I'll gladly accept this touch of snow and live with it.
